What if I told you that I didn’t have to pump once to get these 11.5 ounces today. Would you believe me? Okay, so I didn’t use a traditional “hook yourself up to the flanges and use the dial to cue a letdown” pump, but I did use a silicone pump to catch my excess. Yes, I said excess. This hands free pump suctions to your opposite breast during nursing and collects any milk that would otherwise go into your breast pad. The version I have is a silicone breast pump made by Micro Cube. It’s definitely a game changer when it comes to “pumping.” I get between 1.5-2 ounces a feeding and I don’t spend any extra time pumping. I only wish that I would have found it sooner! Thinking about all of the wasted liquid gold makes me cringe. What are your favorite breastfeeding products?
